Structural applications of SDT are governed by the connection methods.  The core method adopted in the Final Report of European Commission’s FP4 Project FAIR CT 95-0091 is the embedded laced joint, right.  This had been developed at TU Delft, the Netherlands, a partner in the EC project (1995-1998).  The Report may be accessed at:
